The four season destination - A way of life


Limassol is considered as the second largest town in Cyprus and it is a popular tourist destination. The imposing Greco-Roman theatre of Kourion which is 18 km away, near the village of Episkopi testifies the history of Cyprus. Further, Kolossi Castle is about 14 km from the city of Limassol. 

The Old Town of Limassol is popular for its traditional houses build by old stones. Tourists can walk in its small scenic streets leading to the old port and the beach. Limassol is well known for its sandy beaches and its blue sea. It is worthy of note that Limassol has featuring rich vegetation such as eucalyptus trees and cypresses. Tourist can visit the green Public Garden which is home to a zoo with animals like tigers and lions. 

Tourist can enjoy the rich tradition of celebration and hospitality of Limassol. Particularly, in February before Lent, masked revelers invade the street with music, parades, and dancing for Carnival. In September, people in Limasson celebrate the Wine Festival which explodes in the town for a week.

Larnaca International Airport is about a 45-minute drive by car. Tourist may also use public has excellent hotels, apartments, resorts and villas near the airport or Limassol.
